Because when you feel free to be you, it makes it a lot easier for us to be us.As a Senior Manager, Content Marketing, you will be responsible for leading a team of world-class writers to create memorable content that differentiates Splunk, generates pipeline and accelerates sales cycles. Reporting to the Director, Content Marketing, you will partner with Product Marketing and Campaigns to create content strategies for our security and observability audiences that map directly to the customer journey. You will guide our email performance program, ensuring our communications continue to stand out and deliver exceptional results. You will deeply understand market trends in security and observability and how Splunk helps solve top-of-mind challenges for our target audiences.ResponsibilitiesDrive the content strategy for our security and observability audiences across the whole customer journey, ensuring connection from our top-level corporate message into specific solutionsManage a team of writers and content strategists, elevating strategy and delivering exceptional content that helps our regional teams hit their pipeline and engagement targetsBe an expert in our core markets and what\u2019s top-of-mind for our audiences across security and observabilityWork cross-functionally to drive alignment on prioritization and the content calendarManage our email performance program, continuously iterating and testing to improve performanceBe a fountain of ideas for fresh, compelling content and high-impact activationCollaborate with and coach other writers on the teamRequirementsBachelor\u2019s degree in journalism, business, marketing, or communications or equivalent related work experience10 years of experience in journalism, content marketing, communications, or similar writing-forward roles, with experience in the technology space (B2B preferred)Ability to balance strategy and execution, with exceptional writing, project management, and strategy skillsExperience leading and growing teamsHistory working cross-functionally to create content strategy and get alignment on prioritiesDemonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities simultaneouslyAn understanding of the security or observability markets is highly preferredExperience working in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and able to multitask on a variety of different projectsDemonstrated strength in storytelling across various stages of the customer journeyDeep knowledge and curiosity of business, security and technology trendsPassion for learning, growth and collaborationWe value diversity, equity, and inclusion at Splunk and are an equal employment opportunity employer.
