Role Description:
We are looking for a self-motivated and talented Marketing Communications Manager to join our high-energy team and develop and implement both internal and external communication strategies. This person has a passion for content writing and will produce high-quality content that engages customers and builds brand recognition. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, with brilliant presentation and organizational skills. This role requires a high attention to detail and will be responsible for editing and proof all copy and marketing-developed materials for spelling, grammar, syntax, and structure.
Responsibilities:
Create style guides and brand voice outlines for both internal and external alignment.
Consult with senior leadership to develop and implement effective internal and external communication strategies, processes, and policies.
Plan and manage the design, content, and production of core marketing materials.
Supervise projects to guarantee all content is publication-ready.
Draft press releases and internal announcements following organizational news.
Write letters, interdepartmental memos, and other business correspondence.
Communicate with media outlets and journalists and create press kits.
Develop materials to educate staff on communication practices.
Coach and assist team members on improving communication skill.
Perform communications research and monitor the progress of various communications strategies, including media activity reports.
Create communication strategies for new products, launches, events, and promotions.
Respond to communication-related issues in a timely manner.
Skills & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or relevant field.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in B2B tech/software industry or legal industries.
Proven experience creating targeted content.
Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to adopt the style, tone, and voice of our business’ various types of content.
Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure as a member of a fast-paced Marketing team
Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
Portfolio of writing samples required if selected for an interview.
