SUMMARY
Bering Global Solutions, LLC, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking a qualified Technical Writer Editor III in Norfolk, VA.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Writer/Editor creates and publishes technical documentations and manuals. Collects and interprets technical data or information and coordinates layout for publication.
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications (applies to both this section and KSAO’s)
BA degree in English, Journalism, or Technical Writing.
Eight plus (8 ) years of recent Navy C4I(S) experience
Eight plus (8 ) years Planning, developing, organizing, writing and editing operational and maintenance procedures and manuals.
Eight plus (8 ) years Researching, developing and documenting technical design specifications and test scripts
Eight plus (8 ) years Producing electronic documentation in addition to hard copy manuals
Eight plus (8 ) years Analyzing documents to maintain continuity of style of content
Eight plus (8 ) years Managing updates and revisions to technical
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

Four plus (4 ) years developing C4ISR Technical Manuals utilizing MADCAP Flare Authoring Tools (recommended)

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS
