Plan, coordinate, and edit content of material for publication. Define editorial direction, establish ongoing content tuning based on performance data using content management systems knowledge. Drive content production. Guide title selection process for original content (text and video). Edit to ensure content meets quality writing and content standards and adheres to style guidelines. Manage title de-duplication efforts, promoting originality for new titles. Write edit and maintain guidelines for editorial staff and freelance writers to follow, incorporating quality standards and protocols. Using HTML and CSS to modify algorithms to satisfy content goals from a titling perspective. Make content quality assessments, qualify and rate writers, recommend content providers for specific projects. Oversee and advise on article titling process, titling tools and product, quality of titles and performance of individual freelancers. Serve as editorial contact for algorithm updates and creation of new titling sources, using available data. Collaborate with site editors on content and titling needs and work with editors to ensure supply of quality titles in line with publishing goals.
Requires minimum of Bachelors degree in Journalism, English, Communications or a related field, or the foreign academic equivalent, plus minimum 6 months experience as Content Manager or Editor.
