Description
The Consumer Experience Designer will work with a human-centered team to define and develop new opportunities, concepts and services based on empathy-driven insights, reporting to the Director of Consumer Strategy within our new healthcare tech and innovation organization. This individual will suppport initiatives that improve and extend our call center services, further our whole health mission and address the needs of doctors in our network. Responsibilities
The Consumer Experience Designer will work collaboratively to leverage collected research insights to define new opportunities and experiences for supporting Author's members in navigating the healthcare system, maintaining health, and living their best lives. The role of will focus on the following areas:
Work with experts from diverse backgrounds to identify business and consumer needs, frame opportunities, and socialize the findings
Conduct secondary research to understand and define opportunities - including competitive activities, solution analogs, and consumer trends
Collaborate with user research team to frame research, develop stimuli, and support interviews with consumers and stakeholders
Support the development of presentations, procedurals, and illustrations to communicate and socialize opportunities, services, and experiences internally and to key stakeholders at Humana
Serve as a positive, professional, and articulate advocate of consumer-centered design at Humana
Required Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Business or related degree
2-years of experience with communication
Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including but not limited to presentation skills to leadership
Creativity and brand design knowledge/experience
Working knowledge of all Microsoft programs
Detail oriented with excellent organizational and project management skills
Critical thinker who can anticipate team needs and take initiative to present ideas, ask the right questions and deliver the highest quality work
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with concurrent deadlines
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree
Member/Consumer Experience design experience
Strategic Provider Communication experience
