Creative Copywriter
Reporting of the Role
This role reports to the Creative Director
Overview of job
Based in our Leicester Square HQ, you will be working across national agencies and clients, championing the role of audio to drive commercial revenues across all our platforms.
You will be responsible for conceiving, writing, and crafting audio ideas that
will need to be well researched, on strategy and on brief.
You will need to deliver against creative, production and revenue targets as agreed by the Creative Director.

In the first few months, you would have
Gained an in-depth understanding of the Creative Team’s priorities and ways of working
Worked across multiple air-time, digital audio and branded content campaigns
Established yourself as a ‘go to’ creative
Pitched proactive ideas
Identified, and addressed creative obstacles presented by advertisers
Identified and developed creative opportunities for advertisers
Collaborated across teams on a creative project
Responsibilities of the role
Work closely with National agencies and clients, championing the role of audio to drive commercial revenues across all Global platforms;
Conceive, craft and write audio ideas (both in airtime and Content Solutions) that are on strategy and on brief;
Use your good understanding of the commercial audio and the radio industry to aid your ideas and conversations;
Working with Sound Engineers / Producers within the National Commercial Creative team to bring your ideas to life;
Deliver against creative, production and revenue targets as agreed by the Creative Director;
With further opportunities to:
Pitch ideas to national clients and agencies face-to-face
Be involved in client/agency Inspiration Sessions to help drive consideration of the medium
What you will need
The ideal candidate will be proactive and willing to develop and implement innovative solutions, capable of the following:
A minimum of 3 years previous radio/audio creative experience.
A proven track record, with a strong showreel which includes recent work.
A good understanding of commercial audio and the radio industry.
Passion, energy, with a strong desire to develop.
Enthusiastic – motivating.
Excellent copywriting credentials.
Excellent with clients both internal and external.
An understanding of compliance, CAP, BCAP, Radiocentre regulations and production royalties and licencing fees.
